Indoor Sports Complex

Description

The Indoor Sports Complex will be located at the SE corner of Second Street and Lafayette Street. Construction is expected to start in the spring of 2010 and is expected to be completed by November of 2010. The Indoor Sports Complex is privately owned and operated in collaboration with CERAland. The facility is designed by Ratio Architects and construction will be done by Taylor Brothers. The primary goals for this facility are to provide:

  • A premier youth competition indoor sports complex for Columbus.
  • A year round training facility for youth sports.
  • Court, turf, and training facilities to enhance and improve performance in youth sports.

To meet these goals the Indoor Sports Complex will house artificial turf fields and hard courts to compliment the amateur sports of Columbus. Click here to view the wide range of products the facility offers.

The Indoor Sports Complex can host athletic competitions up to the NCAA Division II level. It will also be the home of various events such as tradeshows, exhibits, and other special events.

Impact on the Community

With the Indoor Sports Complex accommodating athletic competitions up to the NCAA Division II level it will help create traffic flow to the Columbus area. Jobs will be created to operate the complex sufficiently.
