Description
The Second Street Garage is located on the block that is bounded by Second Street, Jackson Street, Third Street, and Brown Street. It consists of about 700 parking spaces that are both public and reserved. The reserved parking will have access cards. They will be reserved for those who are employed in the Cummins Office Building across the street and for the proposed apartment residence. It is a pay-to-park facility with a parking ticket for the general public.
Impact on the Community
The Second Street Garage will eliminate added parking congestion due to new development in the downtown area while also providing additional parking for the general public.
