Outdoor Sports Center

Description
The Outdoor Sports Center is a purposed project where individuals can play amateur sports. The sports center will host leagues and tournaments from youth sports to NCAA Division II sports. It will include baseball/softball fields and turf fields for soccer, football, rugby, and lacrosse.
There is a purposed secondary sport site for water skiing and wakeboarding for competitive ski teams.
We are currently looking at the north side of SR 46 for the building of these two facilities. The facilities would be opened for the season from the month of March to November.
Impact on the Community
This facility will allow for amateur sports teams to play in the Columbus area. This will generate traffic flow from surrounding cities to Columbus. It gives a place for local area colleges and universities to have a training facility and play sports. Jobs will be created to maintain the facility.
